Our Story — From the Mouths of Babes . . .

Meet the inspiration for The Nuggle Blanket Company. As my daughter was approaching her first birthday she became very attached to a small security blanket that was given to her as a newborn. We often referred to the little blanket as her "snuggle" blanket. As she began to talk she just couldn't quite get the word "snuggle" out and instead began calling the blanket her "nuggle." When I had the opportunity to start my own business, The Nuggle Blanket Company seemed the obvious choice for the company name. I am proud to be a mom-owned and operated business and greatly appreciate all of the support I receive from customers as well as fellow mom-prenuers!

I believe each of our blankets are one-of-a-kind because they are made to order. We search high and low for unique and visually stimulating prints that will be interesting to little eyes. I discovered through my own little tester that she found the bright, whimsical prints of recognizable objects ~ such as animals, geometric shapes, and people ~ the most fun. The 100% cotton flannel is very soft and cuddly and the satin is the perfect texture and weight for little fingers to rub, rub, rub! All of our blankets can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on low heat making them easy care for Mom.
